This unit is unique because it works well both as a smoker and a grill, capable of handling large or small quantities of food. The fire box, and also the main cooking chamber have two inches of insulation with options for a thermal coupled “Guru” blower and also a convection fan. Its superior insulation and unique double deck cooking design combine to make it extremely efficient, predictable and easy to use. The Meat Monster is a great choice for caterers, competition cookers, or family use.

The bottom of the main cooking chamber

  The firebox is insulated with 2 inches

  The lid consists of two layers of 1/8" steel

steel with 2" of heavy density ceramic insulation
     

The crank up system has been designed
and extensively tested by Peoria Custom
Cookers. (Patent Pending). Mechanism
uses 1" stainless steel bar, stainless
steel strandedcable and stainless
steel roller chain with an adjustable
carbon clutch plate! Eliminates the
need for a locking pin.

  We make the fireboxes by forming a
1/4" outer layer of steel on our brake
press, and similar forming of 1/4" inner
layer with two inches of high density
ceramic insulation in between.

  For smaller quantities, even up to 6 pork shoulders etc,
the fire can be placed in the main cooking chamber for
indirect cooking

If you choose the 3 piece stainless steel
grilling surface, you can remove one
section for easy access to the lower level,
or use that section to slide the meat
over the fire or back off to the side
for "heat soaking"
